Privacy Policy

Effective date: 24 June 2026

Lumiflick is developed by Maurin Dai. This policy explains how the app handles your information.

In short: Lumiflick collects nothing. It runs entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data, and we have no servers that receive your information.

Your photo library

Lumiflick needs access to your photos and videos to do its job: it shows you the photos and videos you took on a given date across past years, lets you swipe to keep or mark them, and deletes the items you marked only after you confirm.

Location in your photos

If a photo contains location metadata, the app can show that place in the optional info panel. To turn coordinates into a readable place name, the coordinate is sent to Apple's Maps service for reverse geocoding, handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. The developer never receives or stores your location.

Information stored on your device

To remember your progress, the app stores the following locally on your device only: which day you are reviewing and your position in it; which items you kept or marked for deletion (by Apple's local photo identifiers, not copies of your media); and your preferences and unlock status. This never leaves your device and is removed when you delete the app.

Purchases

The one time "Unlimited" unlock is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details.

What we do not do

Children

Lumiflick is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone.

Your rights

Because we do not collect or hold any of your personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, delete, export, or sell. Any data the app stores lives on your device and is under your control: delete the app to clear it, and manage permissions in iOS Settings.
